PPS: Pre-Pre-School

ECNS, in conjunction with MAGIC Activity Center, offers a pre-nursery school program, PPS (Pre-Pre-School) for those that are too young for the ECNS Preschool Program.

Housed under the red canopy, the classroom and program share the sensibility of the ECNS nursery school program. Classes are for children no younger than 21 months and no older than 25 months, by September 1st, and meet either Mondays/Wednesdays or Tuesdays/Thursdays from 9:30-11:30 AM.

In September, classes begin with a supportive and gradual separation process. Throughout the school year, there is a nurturing mix of individual attention, routine, sequencing and, of course, socialization.

Manipulatives, art, music, drama, science and structured free play are all incorporated to facilitate optimal cognitive development and to engage the children in age appropriate ways.
